Resting

I am very good at resting but Joan wants more for me so...

We start puppy classes next week!

The Crotty great nieces came to meet me.

They have a new puppy of their own at home.

First meeting ...

After our Tree House visit, we went to Barker & Meowsky.

We brought a great book about dog places in and near Chicago.

I was greeted by Solie. What a friendly playmate.

Pup in a Bag

Here we are ready to go to the

Tree House Animal Shelter.

In the car, I ride in a carrier but

we thought we would try

the bag for walking when

there is no time for sniffs.

Puppy Proof

Fitzwilliam was "taking the heat" literally.

He pulled a wire loose then totally out.

I knew it might be interesting for him.

I should have had the wires covered sooner.

They tell me this covering

for the wires is now puppy proof.

I hope it's true when his permanent teeth are here.

Making Lunch

I am enjoying the box from Joan and Joni's

pizza lunch. Notice the loose parts have been trimmed.

They gave me a time limit then... ALL GONE!

(I thought I needed more time!)

Tool Time with Roger and Linda

Roger is our handyman on call.

Linda, his wife, is very handy, too.

They both love dogs.

They agree...I'm sooo Cute!

I've been cleared to start enjoying the grass

and to start meeting other dogs

(if they have their shots).

He's My Brother!

This gentleman is Jake. He's my brother.

We keep in touch by e-mail and my blog.

His family says:

"He has been dry every morning except two. He is so cute, warm and cuddly at 6 in the morning-HaHa. He is catching on real well to this bathroom business, but we still don't trust him enough to let him loose in the house. His crate is in the TV room with us and we play with him etc in there most of the time cause we are in there most of the time, too. We live about 35 miles south west of Knoxville,TN. "

I reside in the laundry room because Fiona, the cat, has the run of the house!

For the moment, Fiona and I are both confined until the domicile has been

remodeled. The two kitchen windows are being replaced by a patio door.

Joan said it was all being done for me but I think it's really for her.

Crotty Girls Visit

came to visit.

Ben comes to visit!

Joni and Ben were spending the day together and decided to meet Fitzwilliam.

They had a good look at each other.

Fitzwilliam was willing to

"taste" Ben's blue socks but Joni said "No!".

Product Testing

I'm doing product testing .

If I can "kill" it in 5 minutes or less, it doesn't pass.*

I'm suppose to try out a variety of things as part of

my puppy orientation to my environment.

*All testing is done under close supervision by an adult and

I don't get to keep them even if they pass!!!

Joan didn't say SMILE but I did!

I have a new tag in case I wander away.

She said I will get a chip later.

(I wonder what flavor chip the vet will have???)

Dining In

Sweet Home Illinois

I was a priority traveler on an American Airlines

flight from Nashville,TN to Ohare airport.

I took a good drink when Joan and Joni came to pick me up.

Dog Sled Mail

Here is a letter that was delivered by dogsled for Fitzwilliam.

It was sent from MN by our friend DEE.

She writes:

"Welcome to Illinois, Fitzwilliam. This letter was delivered by dogsled, pulled by dogs much bigger than you but not any cuter. It's sort of like the pony express, but colder.

Your people will read the article to you and if you're a good dog maybe they'll let you watch it on TV- the race that is, when there's a re-run.

Don't worry...

no one will expect you to deliver mail.
