HAPPY 4TH Birthday for Jake and Me!

This is my offical 4th Birthday photo.

Jake and I share the day.

Joan bought a new rug for me.

It will help to keep the kitchen cleaner.

They take off my jacket and wipe my paws at the door.

If I sit I get a treat. If I don't Boomer gets the spot remover.

My Fourth Birthday

I love Christmas because I was born on December 16, 2006.
Joan had big plans for me.
She named me Fitzwilliam James.
We have made 117 official therapy dog visits.
We meet and greet Doris D.
and many others in care centers.
We go to St. Joe's and Silver Cross.
Now I have one to care for at home.
She loves having me full time.

It's my JOY to serve!

November Visits

Here I am looking at the Fall display at St. Joe's.

I was able to visit so many folks today.

I still don't like the elevator rides

but it's part of the job so I do it.

Pet blessin 2010

G.E. and I had a lovely Pet Blessing today.

She stayed in her carrier.

You have to look closely to see her.

I tried to help with the prayers by barking a little.

Fitzwilliam at the Crop Walk

Glenna, Joan and I did the 1 mile.

Vic, Marty, and Boomer did the 3 mile.

Joan was pleased to turn in $501.00

My Shaggy Look

My last hair cut was in March.

This is my shaggy look.

I did have a bath every month.

Joan trimmed my eyes.

I would not do my therapy work

Summer's Over

Summer is over. Joan is All Clear.

Now we are ready to do our therapy work.

I have to be shinny clean.

Doris will be glad to see us again!

Boomer is such a good reader.

No Piano Now

Joni and Aaron took the piano to Portland.

We moved the blue chair into it's place.

The room feels bigger but

Joan still won't let me bring my toys up here.

but again none for me!

Something New

Joan thought I needed

more color in this spot.

She added a planter that I can't knock over when my friends come to play.

It's Not Chocolate

We're resting this week.

Joan had her 4th treatment.

My job is to help her rest.

Most hotels give you chocalate on your pillow,

but I can't have it.

Joan likes the way I do my job.

She has had chemo again so she needs me.

I help Boomer out, too.

We keep things going and calm until

the squirrels show up in my yard!

Joan and Boomer only saw her from a distance because she had four pups to watch over.

T-Room

This is what the therapy room (T-Room) looks like

when Joan needs quiet and rest as the treatments move along.

The ladies of Hope church gave her a prayer quit that you see behind me.

I usually sit on the ottoman and nap.

Boomer is a big help.

He keeps shopping for what tastes good to her now.

Joni is doing her part

by doing the deeper cleaning when she is here.

Prayers are always welcome inside and outside the T-Room.

Earth Day

We found a lovely spot to celebrate Earth Day.

I'm doing my part by watching for squirrels.

Joan said there was one near by in a blue shirt.

My Book Gets a Look

Fitzwilliam Therapy Team Leader

I'm now Joan's full time therapy dog.

She is in treatment for Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

It came on quite suddenly

but with quick testing a treatment plan is in place.

Joni and Boomer will

assist me with her therapy.

GE comes out to help when I go to bed.

Our family welcomes all your prayers.
Our goal is to return to TDI service visits in 2011.

I have just had my bath.

When Joan gets her orientation done in February,

I will begin my visits for Silver Cross Hospital.

They are restarting there Therapy Dog program.

They welcome TDI dogs like me.

The New Year is smelling sweet.

Boomer has his new cat, G.E.

Joan helped me complete 90 visits.

Joni will take one cat back to school with her...

that leaves two cats to make friends.
