I plan to Bark in the 4Th. The noise starts on the 3RD making it hard for me to get my rest.
I'm a protector. I just have to bark at unusual noises.
Joan is thinking of playing a CD for me when she goes to watch the fireworks.
How will she know if that works if she's not here with me?

That's a good question, Fitz. How WILL Joan know if you don't bark if she's not there? We are staying home tonight---no fireworks for us! Although...none of us seemed to mind the firecrackers that went off around the neighborhood last night. Too busy napping.
